Associate Pastor - Chris Bourdeau

Chris is our Associate Pastor.  He and his wife Leah met right here at Stony!  They were married in 2003, and have two sons, Alexander Jon (2-years-old) and Benjamin Bryan (New Born).  Chris and Leah, enjoy sleeping when the baby sleeps, having friends over at their home, and watching  movies.

Chris earned his Bachelors degree in Biblical Studies at Rochester College and his Master's of Religious Education (MRE) at Liberty Theological Seminary. He was licensed as a minister in 2005, and ordained to the Gospel ministry by Stony Creek Church and the Great Lakes Association of the North American Baptist Conference in 2009.

As Associate Pastor, Chris oversees our Youth and Programming ministries, and hosts a college-aged Bible Study and an adult small group. As youth director, his desire is to challenge teens and young adults to walk with the Lord, minister to the body, and reach out to the world.  As programming director, Chris' passion is to adorn the Gospel of Christ through the use of contemporary music, cutting edge media, and other creative elements.  Chris says, “Whether you are young or old, worshiping the Lord should be engaging and exciting!”
